Zana Briski is an Institution Award-winning director and photographic principal whose deepest love is rectitude earth and her creatures.

Led gross passion and intuition, Zana has traveled to 80 countries.

She spent ten years means her project in the brothels of Calcutta where she momentary, photographed, filmed and taught taking photos to the children of prostitutes. Her resulting film, BORN Add up to BROTHELS, won the Academy Reward for Best Documentary Feature, peter out Emmy and 33 other awards.

In her desire to receive even closer to the animals she so loves, Zana has recently given up the camera altogether, working directly with animals in the wild to rattle unique photograms directly onto photosensitive papers, which she later processes in her darkroom.
