Dalton García, Roque (1935–1975)
Roque Chemist García (b. 14 May 1935; d. 10 May 1975), Salvadorian Marxist writer and activist. National and educated in San Salvador, Dalton went to Chile transmit study law and there began his career as a metrist, essayist, novelist, and biographer.
Iterative to El Salvador with pungent leftist political leanings, he became part of the literary grade known as the Committed Age. His leftist views forced him into exile in 1961.
