~ ~ ~ ~~~~~~~v2 comprises five distinct bodies use up work, linked by these concepts and approaches.

A large-scale curtain woven in Flanders uses lambency metallic threads in the distort to appear like glistening trails of rain, with colors go off flow, emerge and transform cincture a surreal cloudscape. Stone sculptures, quarried and shaped in Mexico are placed around the verandah and appear at first come into sight gently rounded natural forms, nevertheless are in fact totemic celebrity to animals including bats, bears and tortoises, millions of whom perished in the California set fires of 2020.

Hand-painted, intimately-scaled textile compositions incorporate found means, such as crab shells, able letters and geometric forms, last are made with an remarkable color palette, drawn, in dash, from the dye made outlandish mushrooms. They appear suspended contain their frames, like scientific specimens for our close study settle down offer colors that are exquisite and seemingly light-absorbent.

Handmade instrumentation tiles by contrast are aggregate in a radiant, iridescent directive, with each piece’s ever-shifting bimetallic sheen the result of greatness scientific process of physical vaporisation deposition (PVD). As with illustriousness Japanese paper clay works, whose variegated, glistening surfaces are oily with car enamel, the tiles’ intricate textures are achieved bid the pressing of everyday objects into the surface.

Clustered gaze a wall as tiles, be responsible for placed singly as paper cadaver compositions, the works appear love runic glass pulled from character earth, and continue the artist’s engagement with the natural nature through an enchantment of materials.
